Welcome to 136ACU

The Unit, formerly known as 136RCU (Redlands), was officially formed on 5 October 1993. It was originally established to cover Alexandra Hills, Wellington Point, Thornlands and Stradbroke Island. The current designation of 136ACU (Redlands) Australian Army Cadets became effective from 1 January 2004.

136ACU (Redlands) is proudly fostered by 2nd Combat Engineer Regiment located at Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera. 2CER supports training activities and supplies stores and equipment.

136ACU (Redlands) training sessions are on Tuesday evenings at Alexandra Hills from 18:00 to 21:00.

Water Safety Assessment :: Postponed

The Water Safety Assessment originally scheduled for next Tuesday 22 May 2012 has been postponed. Please attend Cadets as regular at our Alexandra Hills location.

Exercise Happy Wanderer :: 8 - 11 June 2012

All Cadets that wish to attend the next camp on 8 - 11 June 2012 need to have their NOK forms and payment to the office by 15 May 2012 to permit the organisation of buses and rations. Please download a NOK form from the Cadet Login page. Username and Password has been supplied to Cadets via email.

Exercise Happy Wanderer details:

Date - Friday 8 June 2012 to Monday 11 June 2012
Timings - Leave 18:00 Friday 8 June 2012
Location - Wide Bay Training Area, Rainbow Beach
Cost - $45.00 per Cadet (includes bus travel and meals)

Please note that Cadets are required to either bring their meal or eat before they attend on Friday evening. Further camp instructions will be supplied upon availability.
